I’ve been where you are in business (a few times) and I’ve been where you are going.
As an entrepreneur I’ve had 4 businesses across different industries and I’ve had the super highs that come with being a market leader and successful exits, and I’ve experienced the trenches so deep when you are pioneering that you can’t sleep for a year.
And in all of that what I was missing was someone experienced in business that I could go to for support, guidance and to bounce ideas off. Someone who would push me to be better, call me out when I wanted to play small and make me think differently.
I also didn’t have a business tribe that could support me when I needed it and over the last two decades there are many times when I did.
After the sale of my first two businesses I started being approached by other business owners to support them to grow or to sell. 6 years later of coaching many very talented and ambitious business women and a few great business men and a few things became clear. At a certain size business we are all experiencing similar challenges, we all want to make more money, we all need better systems and processes, we probably need more highly skilled staff and we all feel isolated.
